I attended a mini gathering with Glamourbox last month to formally launch Eye Of Horus in the Philippines. I gave you a preview of this brand before through a product review.
Here's Lia Andrea Ramos, former Beauty Queen and the brains (and beauty) behind Glamourbox, the official distributor of Eye Of Horus in the Philippines. The reason why she brought this particular brand to the Filipina market is because it's very good for sensitive eyes and eyeliner is anyone's basic necessity (especially us Asians) as it's probably the best makeup ever to bring out the eyes.
Here's Nicole Spiering, one of the founders of Eye Of Horus who flew all the way from Australia to join us in the intimate launch. She discussed what makes her products special and it all boils down to the ingredients. For one, they contain Moringa Oil to moisturize and protect the eyes, the formulas are long- lasting and proven waterproof, and everything's proudly Paraben and Cruelty- Free. Their short and sweet product roster is as follows:
1. Liquid Define Liquid Eyeliner- fast- drying, stay- put eyeliner. Features a reversible tip.
2. Goddess Pencils- Creamy, long- lasting pencils in matte and metallic finishes.
3. Goddess Mascara- volumizing and lengthening mascara that conditions and strengthens lashes
So why did she call the brand EYE OF HORUS? It was just a suggestion from Angela's niece and she loved the idea! Also, the ancient symbol of the Eye Of Horus is characterized by deep, dark, bold lines, and it perfectly represents what the brand is all about.
Not only that, Eye Of Horus is also launching something in the Philippines soon! :D Click READ MORE to find out what it is! :)

I'm now officially a Carabao as contrary to what I expected, this holiday season in particular is the busiest for me. I imagined that by December, I'm already sitting pretty in my house, drinking hot choco, bonding with Denver, and listening to the tunes of Christmas, but I find myself dashing out of the house more often and skipping from one place to another for work among other things-this also entails super late- night sleeping 'cuz of the reports I have to accomplish. I feel like I've wasted the effects of my religious eye cream usage 'cuz my under eyes are starting to get dark and puffy again. :( Times like this, you gotta thank the person who invented the Concealer.
Are you in the same sitch as me? Good, because you're reading a review that you might actually find useful. I'm going to muse about ZA Cosmetics' Perfect Fit Concealer. It covers decently, affordable, accessible, and has good lasting power. Perfect!
ZA COSMETICS PERFECT FIT CONCEALER 02 IN DETAIL
Perfect Fit Concealer, if I'm not mistaken, replaces ZA Concealer Perfection. It claims to cover up freckles, dark spots, and under eye circles quickly with its pigmented formula. It comes in three shades: 01 (Fair), 02 (Medium), 03 (Dark).
During the holidays, Ayala has this daily heart-stopping lights show in Ayala Triangle Gardens. They dress up the century- old trees in the plaza area in various colored Christmas Lights that are synchronized with a musical playlist. The 5 to 8- minute show starts at 5pm and goes on until 9pm with 15-20 minute intervals in between each performance. (I think) Have you seen it? If not, you should pay a visit because it's a super cool show, especially when it's finally dark because the lights highlight the beauty of the towering trees in an artistic kind of way. :)
Here's what I wore last Sunday to see the show (for the nth time!):
Sharing a quick and useful makeup tip for everyone today!
I assume that everyone here knows how to use a concealer, but do you guys know how to maximize it? Sources will tell you to dot some concealer on your under eyes and blend inwards to conceal lines. Yes, that's correct, but there are some concealers that sink into fine lines, ergo making them appear obvious even more. I'm not saying it's wrong though, but here's the better way to apply it:
You may not notice it, but your eyes has this inverted triangular area. (Marked it for you guys) All you have to do is apply a dot or two in the middle and start blending downwards (as if you're following the pattern of the inverted triangle) to somehow wash out dark circles and so that the tone on your under eyes will blend with your cheeks, giving you a much even- looking complexion. If you have a small puffy area on your under eye, create another (but smaller) imaginary inverted triangle right below the puffy part using your concealer and do the same technique. This technique may also prevent certain concealers from sinking into lines. (Depends on how deep the line/s are)

When Christmas day draws near, the environment gets happier, people become more energetic and festive, and the breeze becomes chillier. I guess all things and events conspire to build up to Christmas and culminate from there! I think last night was significantly the coldest night this month, at least to me as I woke up in the wee hour of the morning, shivering in cold. I had to turn off my air-conditioning and just opened the windows to let the air seep thru, and the outdoors felt pretty crisp and cool. I love it, but my dry skin and lips are acting for a bit. :p
December is the season where I temporarily bid matte lipsticks goodbye because unfortunately, my lips can't stand it. :( Timely enough, I have Benefit's new Hydra Smooth Lip Colors around.
